The roller coaster has started yet again. Relief, elation, joy…. change, adjustments, realization that everything you were doing one way are about to be done a different way. All for the best because as you know, I wasn’t happy with things the deployed way. But, it was what I knew, and I’m not complaining but being completely honest that once the newness wears off the little things start to get to you and you have to work more than ever to keep the peace.
It’s temporary, it’s military life, and I’d choose it this way (adjustment phase) over the family being separated any day. Feeling super blessed
