Spring Break | Day 5 | Three sons and a funnel

What a week it’s been. I’m still standing, so that’s a plus. The week has flown by, and though it has been tough at times, I have been happy to be running around less—unless I want to that is.

It has been a week( and a day) since Asher had his horrific allergic reaction & I am so happy to say, he now looks like this. He is such a happy boy and I am overjoyed to see him acting like himself , maybe even better. The better doesn’t mean he isn’t acting like a demanding toddler. It means, I can tell he is so relieved to be feeling better everything is seems better than before. He is really loving life.

Today we had new-ish friends come over, then went to lunch,  followed by the best time of the day…Nap for Asher. The boys sat around more then I would prefer, but lets face it, I was plumb tuckered out and fresh out of ideas.

After nap the fun really started. I think the afternoon trip to Wal-Mart takes the cake for the most interesting part of the day. Have you ever seen three boys with a funnel?  Lets just say, I was very tempted to buy it because they were having that much fun. Keegan was the Tin Man, and Tate tried it too. After a few minutes of carrying on and being louder then I would like, It was Asher’s turn. The funnel was large enough to cover his head, which really made him thrilled. Then he used it as a trumpet. I am sure there were many on lookers who didn’t approve of his mouth on it a.) his health b.) the poor soul who was going to buy it. FYI- I don’t usually allow my kids to drool on objects we aren’t going to purchase. I made an expectation this time and I think the benefits outweighed the risk- ha! A fun time was had by all.
