Monkey Do

And boy is our littlest monkey doing a lot these days… It is just as fun watching the third  grow and learn as the first. In fact, maybe more. It almost like I’m primed for what milestones and moments to watch for, and then it’s different because it’s a different kid. And it that wasn’t enough, now we have Keegan and Tate, to watch along side us, and laugh at all Asher’s funny little things. Oh to be the baby of the family. He’s got four people cheering him on daily. These are the major pluses about big families. I am sure the joy is this and greater for those with lots and lots of kids. I’ll take my three, but I’m just saying, it’s really great.



Tate helps teach Asher more animal sounds

Of course Asher wants to do everything his brothers do that goes wothout saying. And Asher has started mimicking animal sounds, and saying some more words. He calls the big boys “bubba” and though he has been saying dada for EVER (first word, I think), it is now sounding like cracker. He gets so excited when he hears Greg drive up.  He loves to give hugs and boy does he give a hug. He doesn’t mess around and gives about the biggest bear hug he can give. Tate is he most frequent recipient, and Asher likes to knock him off his feet and not let go. I am trying to get video of this because IT. IS . PRICELESS. He tries to wash his own face with a washcloth, and the other day when I was taking pictures of he and I with my phone, He took the phone held it out with his arm straight and after nothing happened, made a clicking noise as if taking a picture.

Kids are a joy, bottom line, and worth every ounce of blood, sweat, and tears.
