baby gets babied

Last weekend Asher took quite the spill at Lowes-Resulting in a busted lip, a sliver on the nose, and last but not least trauma to his front tooth. The tooth was push half-way back into his gums. A very disturbing thing to discover, especially at the dinner table. I didn't rush him to the dentist, but kept careful watch and made the next appointment available. That happened to be today.

So Asher had his first dentist appointment, and boy was he babied. This particular clinic is so good with kids of any shape and size but bring a little Asher in there, who is so tiny in comparison to other kids and you are going to get some "ooooohhs and ahhhhhh". Every nurse stopped by to see him and flirt with him and he flirted back. He loved the attention. But, mostly loved climbing in and out of chairs and opening and closing the door to the exam room. The cleaning scared the dickens out of him and was sad to see.

Only time will tell whats to come of his baby tooth or his big boy tooth for that matter. We will probably know more in the next few months. But, won't know everything until he loses this tooth and his adult tooth comes in. It may have been damaged as well. I am going to hope for the best. It is already looking so much better and it is still a healthy color.

He left with a ball, a Boots sticker, a toothbrush, and a lot of fans.  Good boy, Ashy. You are so big
