When I say the city, I kind of mean the beach. Because this town is kind of small. Town life has so many memories for me. It’s where I was born, and raised till twelve. My fondest of fondest memories were at the beach like I said in this POST about Lido Key. Ahhhhhh… Going to my great-grandmas was the best time any kid could have. Beach and cousins all day long, ice cream(with M&Ms on top, no less), feeding the seagulls, looking for shells. We went to parks and flea markets with my dad, we explored new places. The less rural life was great , too. Driving around town in the city and the country you can see my dad’s sign work. Bitter-sweet memories. He took such pride in the work he did, and now…Through hurricanes, and time, the paintings are fading if they are still standing. If he were still here, he would be keeping those signs looking fresh and current.
But, as I was saying, Pensacola Beach: Is a great place to spend a relaxing evening and that’s just what we did. Ahhhhhhh…the breeze was spectacular , the crowd pleasant, the bands playing so harmoniously, No kids… Cause guess what!?! We were staying with family. Yes!
