each child's silhouette was hanging in the classroom.
Today I got to go to a tea party. Not just any tea party…. A Mother’s Day tea party at Tate’s school. They worked so hard on everything for months I tell ya. Everything from the songs, to the art projects , just for us moms.
We had some tea party snacks and the whole place was decorated including little smarties as dinner mints placed in tea cups. The kids really enjoyed using the spoon to scoop the “dinner mints” on to their napkins. Speaking of parties, I am now know at the school as a party animal. My card made by Tate said said, My favorite thing to do with my mommy is- “going to the store. sometimes we go to the dancing store. there is a disco there.”I honestly for the life of me have NO IDEA what his is talking about, But I really appreciate the fact he totally makes me sound like I "work" for a living in front of the whole class. He also said My Mommy is “four in a half” on the other fill-in-the-blank portion the card. Oh boy, so that means I am 6 months older than he. Oh and When I’m at school, my Mommy "Goes home and gets some coffee.” Now ain’t that the life : )
Darn, it is so hard to get a picture that's not blurry when I hand my camera over. Still love that smile on his face!

That is so sweet! I think it's funny the things he comes up with to say about you! My older one says things too. My favorite is, "It was my birthday yesterday. I had a buzz cake!" Even though his birthday was 6 months ago.
I love the silhouettes they made! How darling! I went to Gabe's school today, they did a mother's day song etc. They also had a big poster hanging up-they asked the kids why they loved their mom. Gabe's said : "I love her and she is special" aw. :)
I really loved the photo with the two of you-you look wonderful. I'm sure he had such a brilliant time with you at his school. I know Gabe is so proud when I am there-i'm sure Tate felt the same.
xo
So cute! I love that silhouette! The pic of you and Tate is beautiful.
Thanks everyone. Yes, I couldn't believe the sihouettes. I love them and think they are so "in" so not exactly what you expect from a preschool. Plus, they have each mom one mounted to cardstock in and 8x 10 size. It is prefectly done, and those boogers can be hard to get the details. Believe me , I've tried.
I almost didn't post the picture of us. I was having on you those not so pretty feeling days. ASo thanks for your sweet words!
