out on the town

Last week we got all dressed up and went to the Waterside Marriot in Tampa. The Chamber of Commerce was putting on an event to thank the Military. As you know we don't do this sort of thing often. Greg hadn't worn his mess dress since the Air Force Ball in 2005. And it took me longer than one would think to find a decent undergarment to wear with this dress.  We mixed and mingled, I flew a F-35 simulator, then we had a nice dinner, followed my the awards ceremony. I’d say all in all the night was a success.
