Yesterday Japan was slammed with the largest earthquake in 100 years. I heard it was one out of 5th largest in world history. Every time a natural disaster happens my heart breaks for the people and the families.. It does.. really. But, I felt this one different, so close to my heart. After living there for 3 years it kind of does feel like my second home. Imagining the people, the cars, the houses, the farm land all just made me that much more sadden by this complete catastrophe. I can put myself there so easily, and the fact we could have been there is even scarier. Hawaii and the whole Pacific is in an uproar and knowing we have precious friends all over these areas just makes me feel unsettled. I wanna bring them all in my backyard were they are safe and sound and have a bonfire ;) So many prayers are going out, and I hope they will continue. It will be a long road to rebuilding hearts and homes.

I know how you feel, Japan is like my second home too! So devastating so hear about what's going on there. Makes me appreciate and be grateful for everything I have, and all my wonderful friends. Love you!
I thought about you as soon as I heard the news. I remember you saying how you just had your 1 year anniversary back in the states. So happy on one hand you are safe here, but so sad for everyone still in harms way.
That Brandon Heath song always comes to my mind
