Even though marriage isn't defined by the wedding day, it hasn't been all peaches & cream either. We are a less then perfect couple. We fight, and argue, we don't always see eye to eye. But we do make up. And whether Greg likes it or not we COMMUNICATE, COMMUNICATE, COMMUNICATE.
You want our stats don't you? Yes, here goes- 4 moves, 10 + deployments( just in case you are wondering, that equals more time apart then together), countless TDYS(temporary duty- longer than a day, shorter then a deployment), 3 a.m.a.z.i.n.g. kids, 6 or more cars, lost of love ones, happy times, sad times, and more.
I am thankful to have this man in my life who puts up with a large array of shenanigans. Not many people would be that patient. I sometimes feel like we are still in our first year of marriage just working out the kinks, Other times we are as comfortable as old shoes. I like the latter, of course.
Here's to more old shoes days, where we just "get each other", more laughing, and just plain ol' enjoying life together.
4Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, 5does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, 6does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
