lamp revamp|diy

This isn’t a DIY tutorial, because anyone can paint a lamp, but more of a success story. Because I love how my lamp turned out, and because if a lamp brings you joy, it’s a success story in my opinion.

I bought this lamp at Goodwill for a whopping 3.00 & that’s about all it was worth. It didn’t have a shade, the base for the shade was wobbly (all it needed was a little tightening, but  it was just plain drab.

I mixed a little white to a gray paint I had, that was too dark, and made what I call “dove gray” added a shade.

And here it sits. A good improvement it I do say so myself!
