Learning lessons

Because he’s the baby, he can just about get away with anything, and he hasn’t had enough face time this month… A moment from Asher…

I love this kid. He is a roly poly tiger cub and pretty much as fun as they come.

This week I learned (once again) not everyone is going to love your kids,”get” your kids, or appreciated your kids. Some people might think they are down right rotten. That’s what we are for. To teach them the best we know how, to love them when other’s can’t, and to give them a heaping dose of grace—the freedom to be different and unique. Ya know what?!? I’m sorry My seven-year-old teaches my four-year-old about DNA in spit and the like. ; ) I’m sorry that my kids don’t stay dressed. I really dress them I do, but somehow every pictures I end up taking they are in a diaper, undies, or swim trunks. What can I say…it’s Florida baby! And it’s a hot one this year!

The cousins showed up for an unexpected visit. Our boys couldn’t be more different, but I love them just the same.

(yup, Ashey nose is snotty)

Can you guess how tricky it was to get five boys to sit for this picture?

Hope you are having a fabulous Friday and that it is full of grace,

S
