I have a mom, I am thankful for that. She’s kind and caring with a big, big, heart. She did everything for us kids. Had six kids in eleven years, and homeschooled us all. My mom took us to church, taught us about God, and was ever so patient. She is Incredibly unselfish. She remains firm in her faith and cannot be shaken. What a great example she is.
One of my favorite memories was her singing us different cheers and songs she learned growing up, oh and telling us about the sayings her Grandma used to say. Now she is also a wonderful Grandma to my boys. If it wasn’t for my mom, I don’t know where I would be.

Now I am a mom, and boy if it isn’t my biggest challenge and biggest blessing. It crazy that those two things can be intertwined. I think becoming a mom has made me a better person, stronger, and with more of an appreciation and need for God in my life. I am thankful he gave my three boys who run me ragged, because quite frankly, it leave me vulnerable and causes me to rely on… well… The maker of the iniverse. There is no place I’d rather me. I don’t feel thankful all the time because times can be down right hard, but I am not just saying it, I really think being a mom in joy and in sorrow has saved me from myself.. And how good is God that he gave my three healthy boys? It really is more then I can fathom. Each time they were placed in my arms I felt the biggest miracle in the world had just taken place.
Being a mom has endless blessings and teaches you to be unselfish, to love more then you knew you could. What a privilege it is
