As you know from previous post we LOVE showa park. Going to the Christmas light festival is A MUST. Just remember, like most things in Japan, if you have small children and are traveling to get there, it is not for the faint of heart. We opted to drive instead of take the train because the walk from the station to the park is far and it was C.O.L.D out. Really cold, in fact, Keegan age five at the time sat in the stroller the whole time, under a blanket, because he was so cold. And well, because he’s a home body. The drive that should have taken 30 minutes tops, ended up taking over two hours. If I remember correctly. Lets just say going on the night of the fireworks was a mistake. Parking…You don’t wanna know. Good news is, we made it in on piece and got to hang with our dear friends Jamie & Janell.

Tate and Kainoa aka Indiana Jones had a great time.
I would have cropped the strangers out of the picture but its just to classic to crop. You see people wearing medical mask everywhere you go in Japan.
