house love x 100

I've got a problem ,and really, I just need to stop looking at home and decorating pictures and blogs. When I find something I love I am bound and determined to "create" it. I am madly in love with this space I came across yesterday. This awesome lady Christy Ford was featured in Southern Living and was on their website as well. I think her home is gorgeous. How many times have I said I don't want my house too "fancy". I don't think hers is. I think it is perfect. But, it might be catagorized that way by some, including me. Can I change my mind?  Can you totally NOT see me living here??? Don't say "no". I am already convinced I can do something similar , even if it's in our next house, I'll find a way to incorperate her style and make it my own. It's really, really, annoying that I love her neutrals and pops of color so much because I already had decided I was going to use grays, and yellows, and reds in my house---I love them all! Blaaaah!  This house is not any of those, but the browns, and whites and bluish greens are dreamy. Somehow she has some eclectic, modern flavor thrown in there which makes me head-over-heels. I'm unsure about the golds(for me).  I feel like this space might be too "grown -up" for me.

Would ya'll make fun of me if I had a leopard rug? Don't say it, I know...The kids would drop spagetti right on it.

WHY do I love this rhino head?

Oh wait, theres some yellow

um, hello, how cute is that coat rack?

this chair reminds me of something my great-grandmother would have

hey, K & T's room is this color...
She better watch it. Those girls might be coming home with me!  I want a daughter or at least a dog named Georgia.  That isn't either of  their names. Just sounds like fun ;)

Okay, I have now prepared myself. You can be honest( I might not listen anyway). Would you think it odd if my house looked like this inside?  This is a far stretch style wise from the last house I posted, the one I could "see myself living in".  Maybe I'm just crushing but I'm totally feeling in love with this charmed , southern decorating style, I usually avoid. Why do I suddenly want to embrace my southern roots- ha! Reason 156 to be a interior designer..I could work with all colors and style and not continuiously try to convert my house to my newest house crush.

That is about as eclectic as you can get and still hold it all together! I dig that rhino too! Weird!

I love it, and I totally think it's you! You really do have that home designer eye. I think that's why you like a whole assortment of different looks. the rhino head made me laugh though. hehe.

It is very simple yet chic. I think my style is WAY out there, because to me it was kinda plain. I want so many bright, colorful, crazy things going on when we finally get a house. But don't get me wrong, it is a beautiful home!
